It has a unique mechanism in the hinge that keeps the seat up when not in use. If a user needs to sit, there is an antimicrobial handle on the side that the user can use to pull it down. Our mechanism will keep it lowered for 15-30 seconds; this allows the user to take their time before sitting on it. When you’re done and stand up, the mechanism will pause and then slowly lift up.
